Hillary Clinton camp in overdrive going after New York Times

Maybe it's a little cheesy, but I like the arrow pointing to the available building the story is referring to.

Although this is only one page, I was drawn to the overlap of text. I think using half of the picture as the texture for the text is creative and eye-catching. They could have easily made the words, "Yes He Did" in bold black and it would have looked good, but this meshes the words and the article with the man.
Pulling out the beautiful yellow tone in Elizabeth Olsen's outfit really makes this layout "pop."

SND Best of Sports Design 2012: Enterprise/Feature Centerpiece -- "Spring Training" by the Washington Post's Chris Rukan. Love the zoomed in shot of the baseball seam as the main image; smoothly directs the eye/ the reader's attention to the main text.
