Annual. One of the most fragrant flowers, heliotrope or Cherry Pie has been a favorite of American gardeners since the 1700s. Bushy, compact plants are covered with large, 6” to 10”, scented flower clusters. Grow in containers and window boxes, or near the front of a border so you can enjoy the fragrance. Attracts butterflies. In warm climates and areas with hot summers, plants appreciate protection from afternoon sun. Perennial in USDA zones 10-11.
