Lord, you are all-knowing. In your wisdom, you have chosen to make this a period of waiting for me. It is difficult, painful, and confusing, but even in this, I glorify your name. I know it is all working out for my good. I choose to trust you; teach me how to trust you.
Open my eyes and my heart so that I may know you deeply. Teach me how to wait well in you. May the posture of my heart be one of reverence and rest. Teach me to rest in you in my waiting.
You are my hope, my peace, and my salvation.
