Antique South Staffordshire or Battersea Enamel Table Snuff Box, 18th Century

A fine antique English South Staffordshire or Battersea enamel table snuff box. With a pink ground and white enamel latticework decoration throughout. Each side has a cartouche with classical lover's scenes. The interior of the lid has a wonderfully painted scene partially nude lovers under a tree with a cherub. Measure: Width ca. 3 1/8.
