After purchasing, click the red "Create Digital Activity" button.Please check out the preview for specific examples of what is included.I created this unit to introduce my students to paragraph writing before we begin focusing on specific types of writing. This unit begins by looking at the parts of the paragraph. This is followed by practice writing paragraphs as well 4 printables where students put sentences in the correct order to make a paragraph make sense. Next, there are examples of problems I find repeatedly in my first graders paragraphs throughout the year (no punctuation, using the conjunction 'and' incorrectly, etc.). This unit includes activity pages to get kids to start thinking about these common mistakes and correct them. To conclude this unit, there are pages with picture prompts for students to write their own paragraphs as well as blank pages for writing about topics of their choosing.
