It’s been a while since my last bag design and I’ve been itching for a new one. With each new bag I try to incorporate a new design element and for this one, that element is my new chain link cable design! Now, you may be intimidated by crochet cables so I added a video tutorial and a step-by-step photo tutorial to help! This is a 17 page pattern that includes a step-by-step photo tutorial for the chain link cables, how to add a zipper tutorial, and complete assembly tutorial. The is a “no-holes” crochet bag! You won’t lose a thing from your bag with this one. I’ve also designed the strap so that it doesn’t stretch out on you! Yarn: I used Lion Brand Jeans Yarn for my bag in the color Stonewash. I used just under 3 full balls, approximately 730 yards. Notions: Aside from the yarn, you’ll need a 9” L non-seperating zipper, a magnetic snap, and a 3” diameter button (aesthetics only). I also added 3” W metal buckles to my strap, but these are for aesthetics only. Does this bag need a liner? Absolutely not! The stitches are woven tightly enough that you won’t be losing pens through the bottom or sides of your bag. ;) Skill Level: This design is an Intermediate level design, but there is a video tutorial included!
