My DIY raised planter beds and planter boxes are built in sections to be assembled by you or your landscape team on-site. My DIY planters and beds assemble very easily as I pre-install riv-nuts. All assembly hardware is hidden from the outside view once your planter is assembled. In addition, I build in both top and bottom edge flanges (90 degree bends) for increased rigidity. I also build in a top edge inner return for aesthetics. This return provides an extra touch of visual refinement. I use a robust 14 gauge corten steel as my standard material.
