There is nothing in this world that says comfort food like homemade mashed potatoes with lots of butter and cream! These are creamy mashed potatoes with nothing but salt and pepper added for flavor. Simple sometimes is best! However, if you prefer your mashed potatoes to have cheese, garlic, sour cream & chives -- well, I've added those amounts to the bottom of this post and all you need to do is choose your flavors and have at it!
