This French “matching activity game” or small group game is played in groups of about 5 students and can be played as a shorter/longer game if you wish. There are 27 pairs of French Carnaval picture cards to use this winter. Vocabulary is written on each card to help with vocabulary development. Asking students to read the name of the card out loud when it is their turn also promotes French oral work for the Winter Carnival. This game can be played with beginner or more advanced French language students. NOTE: For the Digital only version click here! All picture cards are written in French.
