Michigan’s M22 Scenic Drive Itinerary

The perfect itinerary to driving the M22 in northwestern Michigan. The M22 is a 116-mile scenic highway that outlines the Leelanau Peninsula (the ring finger of Michigan’s Mitten). Without stops, it would take about 3 hours to drive. But that would be a mistake! There are so many quaint towns and scenic sights that you should take an entire day (or two!) to really take it all in. Recommend doing this drive in May for the cherry blossoms or October for fall colors.
