The bass drum is a structural part of the physical drum set as much as a part of the sound. Displayed is one of Neil Peart's bass drums supporting two rack style Tom Toms with a support mount built into the top of the drum shell, as well as a cymbals stand clamped onto the rim of the drum. Also displayed is the cover from Rush's 1994 album "Counterparts", which the band toured from January until May of the same year. This partial drum kit was likely part of Neil Peart's set-up on that tour.
