These 1976 wall plaques were made in the USA by HOMCO of a molded hard plastic that resembles alabaster for the design and a gilt wood frame--YET all are PLASTIC. The imagery is subtle, wonderful, and kitschy, reminding me of my mom's formal dining room with its orange flock Damask wallpaper; Mom had a set of plastic wall plaques and a matching pair of lamps featuring Greek goddesses pouring water from large pots.
