Last weekend we went out to find the snowy owl. The first day was pouring rain but the second day was much better. Here you can see a portrait of a female snowy owl resting and listening for prey. Owls can look like they arent really bothered by you but that doesnt really mean anything. You have to keep your distance when the owl is visibly reacting to your presence back off. .
