The Mode Square Coffee Table is inspired by 1950’s Brutalist architecture, a style featuring simple modular elements and found in many iconic institutional buildings like libraries, schools, and city halls. In this large square coffee table design, we placed a smooth slab of solid hardwood on top of textured blocks of blackened fir to create the perfect contrast.
