Models typically use their social feed to debut projects, flaunt luxury purchases & post sponsorship deals. But Long Beach resident Torin Ashtun is using hers to heal through the art of storytelling. Her posts showcase how she uses her body, mind and soul to create; from capturing visual silhouettes to Ashtun’s use of ‘surrealist automatism’ – art created by the unconscious mind – and launching her comic book, The Art of Captivation about growing up in a homeless shelter.
