The Last King of Scotland (3.5 stars) Based on true events, this movie is an eye-opener about the Amin regime in Uganda in the 70's. Horrible atrocities take place but are mostly off-camera. It kept my interest for the entirety but it really didn't pull me in due to my not being able to relate to the characters. Gillian Anderson, the reason I had this in my queue, has a small role. Forest Whitaker is awesomely, frighteningly believable as Amin.
