Tomtit- A 12 Inch Foundation Paper Pieced Bird Quilt Pattern

The tomtit is the tenth foundation paper pieced quilt pattern in my series of New Zealand Native Bird quilt blocks. I have very vivid memories of these beautiful birds flitting through the trees in Fiordland. Such a beautiful and fun bird! The pattern creates a 12 inch finished block. It consists of 10 sections which need to be sewn together. A diagram detailing the layout of the pieces is included as are instructions as to the order in which these are sewn. All the sections include seam allowances. The pattern assumes that you are already able to foundation paper piece, but a few helpful hints are included to help you on your way. To ensure that the pattern prints out at the right scale, ensure that your printer is set to print "actual size". This block is part of a 13 block series of patterns that I designed for a quilt.
