Writing Desks
Open desk in red lacquered poplar wood, central Italy, mid-18th century. Three drawers in the undertop band, pair of side doors. Front and sides decorated with ocher frames, some of which lozenge. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
