#Urbina Selección, #Crianza 1999 It's finally here! Another outstanding wine from La Rioja by BODEGAS URBINA. "Seleccion" is a blend of 90% #Tempranillo, 5% #Mazuelo and 5% #Graciano from 20 year old vines. Has been aged for 15 months in American oak casks and it is deliberately released early before reaching 'Reserva' status. The finish is lingering and elegant. Rioja is Spain’s most renowned wine region, and Urbina is a well-known family winery makes very quality wines since 1870, which is more than 150 years of history! Made with 90% Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes, Gran Reserva is a fruit-driven style wine. Very pure, smooth, elegant with a delightful nose of plums, beeswax and fine sweet oak. Cheers!
