For the Italian Fashion Hub, respecting the geometrical forces of the present buildings, the design proposal bridges over, taking its form from the existing spinal structure called the Centergross. One can think of the new intervention as a gigantic Centipede stretching its trunk along/over the Centergross. Due to its many supporting legs, the new volume that unifies the complex will hover above, rather than disturb the existing intricate web of access points and circulations. #rzlbd #centipede

Visitors are invited to take a strip of colourful paper from a nearby bracket and tie it onto the branches of this whimsical centrepiece. This playful, ceremonial act magically adds “leaves” back onto dead nature to acknowledge all that it gave us in life. #rzlbd #pavilion #installation
