Ashley Close admitted that her nerves played a factor as she and her Sewickley Academy girls tennis teammates headed into Wednesday’s WPIAL Class 2A title match against Knoch High School. But when the sophomore stepped onto the court, she was more excited than nervous about the contest. She was ready to seize the moment.
