Kitchens are the heart of the home - the place where the party starts and the party stays. When we have a kitchen project - we know the importance of the space and put that same importance into the work we put into it. For our recent kitchen renovation, we kept the existing natural travertine flooring because they were in good shape. From there we played with high contrast colours for the cabinets, and added textures by layering mixed metals with black and chrome finishes. Photo: @kerri.torrey

Ready for it! Here it is! The Project Stringer kitchen reveal. This kitchen was once a dark space with zero cabinet storage. Not pretty, not practical. So we starting by removing the two small windows, and expanding them into one large window to let that much needed natural light in. This also allowed us to increase the site lines to their backyard pool. Check it out! This powder room got a major makeover! The Olve Design Studio wanted to make this salle de bain a bit more whimsical - so we opted for a floral wallpaper from @timberleainteriors (which is a Canadian owned company and fabulous to work with!) ⁠ ⁠ Next we selected a concrete basin from @kastconcretebasins in eggshell for that element of glam.
