Fireplace Remodel. Removed ugly Lava rock!! Added Subway tile for surround and hearth. Added pine tongue and groove planks horizontally across the top half. With 3x4 pine trim and crown molding. Added plywood and 1x2 trim along the bottom. Built a 3 sided pine box which we distressed to look like a timber for our mantel. Just have to add the trim along the hearth outside edges and we're done!!
