St. Christopher was a very important saint to Italian immigrants. I painted this 8x5 foot oil painting in 1990, to honour the history of Canadian immigration. The National film Board of Canada featured it in a documentary film called Enigmatico. It can be seen at the Delia Social Cultural Center at Islington and Steeles.
